Stagner goes to Washington!

Stagner goes to Washington!

Well, it's been a week!  We arrived in DC last Friday, unpacked, got our shipped boxes, did more unpacking, had our furniture delivered, and explored the neighborhood a bit during Labor Day Weekend.

Tuesday we started three days of training on how to be an AEF fellow. Ethics, congressional schedules, travel procedures, strength-finders (my #1 talent is Learning, how appropriate!), forms, meeting agencies/organizations/former fellows, taking pictures, etc.  WHEW!  We came out of it a little shell-shocked, but with 13 new friends who we can count on to have our back and a mixture of excitement and panic.

Today was my first day at NASA - ARMD.  More paperwork and procedures and a whole set of friendly faces to remember.  It was a whirlwind.  I'm glad it's the weekend and I can relax and not try to remember any more acronyms.

How lucky am I?
